ocs to bully my friends into playing
Mar. 23rd, 2017 10:25 pmy'all told me to do it. most of these are for the same verse, so drill me for deets if you want them. Aster is the only one who has a defined name and honestly even that's flexible. oh wait, i lied, Kirsche does too but that's only because he and Hazel match names. everyone has minimal personality deets established so you can go totally nuts if anything really grabs you with an idea.
Intone
World deets: Takes place in the country of Adryae, a faux-European country in a fantasy setting. Magic is incredibly common in this world and is deeply intertwined with music and creative expression. While humans cannot naturally channel it directly, it's common for them to make use of external instruments and weapons to do so. Humans with a naturally higher affinity for magic tend to be born with a reddish tint to their eyes and hair. Very JRPG. Backstory blurb for Main Plot Shit
Aster Anwick
An alchemist. An old friend of Alalia's. Skilled at her trade and without peer when it comes to business. Smart and cunning. Once something's piqued her interest, she won't let it go.
Second Verse:
Takes place a handful of years follow Intone (something like 5-7? Enough for Shit to Change). Less defined as a story, but follows a young adventurer setting out across Adryae for the first time, accompanied by a party of fellow adventurers. They run into Deep Shit at some point which probably ties back to the original conspiracy around the Siren in Intone. Cute Girl Adventurer is Hazel Summerhelm castmates I'm bullying y'all into are her buddies.
Big Sis Adventurer
Hazel's oldest friend and travelling partner. A few years older than Hazel and has been an adventurer for some time before Hazel begins her own journey. She decides to accompany Hazel on her first quest out of curiosity and a desire to keep her safe. A rough and tumble 'big sister' type of girl. Strong and muscular, fights with a heavy melee weapon. Would fight a fully grown adult bear just to say she had.
Trainee Knight Girl
The oldest of the group, a girl training to join the order of knights protecting Adryae. She meets the party while out on an assignment of their own and decides to join them to get some more thorough experience out in the field. Capable and dependable.
Kirsche Summerhelm
Hazel's father. A travelling adventurer who had a brief affair with her mother before moving on. Crass and blunt and takes little seriously. His nomadic lifestyle prevents him from ever truly settling down to raise his daughter. Gets along very well with Hazel. Spent two years of her preteen years travelling with her to prepare her for an adventurer's lifestyle.
